NE Dustoff presented by Ocean State Dubs April 18th 2010

the date has been set for the 2010 NE dustoff! start making the final touches to you car coming into the end of the winter months and get ready for spring time!

Dustoff will be doing club parking, show parking and exhibiton like they always do. Prices are the same as last year and will be posted on vortex (probably will be posted here too).

I emailed dave at dustoff about parking, here is his response:

"Hi Nate,
 
We would prefer clubs pay as a group, but if some come in late, they can pay at the door, but we would like a full list of everyone potentially coming so that we don't have any strays who say they're with a club but aren't.  We also like to get an idea of how much space we will need for club parking.  Also, like last year, if you're a show car you park with your class not the club, so they will have to register seperately with the show cars.  Attached is an excell spread sheet that we require.  If you have any further questions please let me know.

SO, with that being said people can paypal me the $20 to nbwillard@hotmail.com if you want to park with the club. in the information box put youre name and license plate information. it will also be a good idea to reply here once paid also putting down your name and plate number and saying "paid". once i get everyones payments/information i will fill out the spreadsheet and send it and the money over to the guys at dustoff. if you do not know if you will be there and want to park with the club, reply to this thread with youre name and license plate and write that youre not sure and will pay at the door if you decide to go.

Due to the general contractor coming to my home Monday first thing in the morning, and me having to work on Saturday it leaves me only Sunday to strip the front of my house of all the wood, if i do not do this it will end up costing me an extra $500 to have them do it. So with that being said i am official out of the game for Dustoff.

I am going to go if anything just to see Nate's S4 rear again but this time hopefully it has some quad tipped hotness going on as well!

But seriously Nate I am really pissed that I missed Staggered last weekend, I hope someone used my money to at least eat or something! I honestly could care less about the $15, but I could not sleep for the life of me that night and then I finally started to crash around 3:30 AM, I said fuck it and set my alarm for 5:30 so I would have plenty of time to "wake up" yeah slept straight though that. And my alarm is not a typical alarm clock, I use a little program on my computer which is hooked up to my home theater system and even with my 5 speakers and 12” sub blasting for over 10 minutes I did even wake up. I did wake up later at 10:00 AM, Saw that it was a beautiful day and then contemplated cutting my wrists because I missed the show and I must be Emo. I had a blast at Dustoff last year so I really want to make the show tomorrow, I think I am going to have to just stay in and drug myself with sleep meds at like 10 PM so I will be able to get up at around 6 AM, which will give me about an hour and a half to wake up and get my shit together, I will even try to do that tonight so I just have to shower in the morning and then I am just 5 mins from Jordan's as you know. God why do these shows all have to start so damn early! If we always left at like 10 or even 9:30 AM for shows I would make every single one, I am just a raging insomniac and I work 11 AM to 7 PM typically for my job so my body isn't even used to getting up before 10, I envy you morning people!

It sucks that the weather is going to be shitty tomorrow but it usually is for April shows, we also don't have the tent right? I heard it blew over and got bent up so that means we will all be hiding in our cars if the rain starts to come down hard. My car is such a shitbox right now too with its dumb winter mood wheels and tires still and I have not done a single new mod to it all winter even though I have the Coilovers, Carbon Fiber Side Skirts, Stainless Steel Brake Lines, something else I am forgetting oh and some sick Weather Tech custom fitted floor mats that my girl got me for my birthday, maybe I will put those in today haha! I really need to switch my wheels, that will make a big difference and I will get to see my purdy rotors though the wheels finally. It will also motivate me to schedule an appointment to get my coilovers installed and after that is done I will install the CF skirts. I was going to put them on last weekend but I figure they will look so dumb with the way my car sits 20 inches off the ground. Fuck it maybe I will do that today too just to change the way my car looks for a week or so, for better or worse. God I disappoint myself sometimes.
